Timeless razor handle size12/29/2023 The razor felt very mild, but gave me a very nice shave. Audio feedback was present but not as loud as I get from my Above The Tie R1. This being the first shave, I believe that I will be able to get it dialed in better after some practice. I found that the angle that I used for the Blackbird also worked pretty well with the Timeless. I used a custom Rudy Vey brush with a Shavemac 2 band silvertip knot, Micky Lee Soapworks "The Kraken" soap, and a brand new Gillette Silver Blue. Compared to the Blackbird the blade feel on the timeless was almost nonexistent. I have to say that to me it felt MUCH milder than my Blackbird. I bought the 95 mm blade gap model, which is billed as "MED. The threads on the cap are very smooth, the handle screwed on like butter. The finish on the cap is mirror like, I can't find a single flaw anywhere at all. I bought the solid bar smooth cap version with the 12 mm x 85 mm knurled handle. My Timeless Razor arrived today, I took it on its maiden voyage tonight.įirst I should say that this is a beautiful razor. I also use Caties bubbles today, first time I used it since I bought CRSW, really miss that post shave from CRSW, face feels sticky not the soft smoothness I get from CRSW. Really liking how efficient this razor is, but still being comfortable. I think the Gillette yellows might work better with this razor. Really love this razor, Polsilver worked great for the first 2 shaves but seemed to maybe take too much skin off, didn't hurt or irritate during the shave or just after shave, but a bit after the shave the neck would get red. Today skin looked fine put in a Gillette yellow seemed just as efficient as the Polsilver but more comfort, no redness on neck, seemed a bit more gentle on the skin than the Polsilver, the yellows on the 34c felt good on the skin but wasn't very efficient, on the Timeless it's still as efficient as the Polsilver(maybe a tad less but close) but easier on the skin. He went home and ordered a Timeless.īeen using Polsilver since I got the Timeless(Wednesday) but notice after Friday shave my skin was getting a little irritated and yesterday even more so, neck for the first time was red along the adams ample, but when I was shaving it was feeling good and smooth, weird. He loved them all, and said he was now convinced that a good razor is worth the investment. A friend came over last evening and wanted to try some of my "ridiculously expensive" (his words) razors, and I set him up with the ATT M2, ATT H1, and the Timeless. This isn't the case with the Timeless razor- those rinse outs do their job. I take my razor apart daily after shaving, rinse and dry everything, and always have to remove buildup from the blade. Maybe this isn't a unique feature, but it's the first razor I've owned with them, and they certainly work. The first thing I noticed about this razor were the the large rinse outs. I purchase things for their usefulness and longevity, not for their looks, but I couldn't have been more impressed with the fit and finish of this razor. 68mm bar, and this has proven to be the perfect gap size for my stubble. Money well spent! I've been using it everyday for about three weeks, and getting the best shaves of my life! I bought the scalloped. I first learned about Timeless Razors on a B&B thread about a month ago, and since they offer a 30 day money back guarantee, I thought I have nothing to lose. But compared to current razors at these prices, I think they certainly are in the same class. I know the price will turn a lot of people away, it is expensive. I find it to be smooth and forgiving, I am getting great shaves from it. Personally I get a satisfying blade feel, it's not too aggressive but certainly not mild. As far as shaving goes I would put it up against any of my razors. I think the craftsmanship on the timeless is superb, although the underside of the top cap wasn't polished. The craftsmanship on the wolfman is first class. I was lucky enough to get a wolfman, and I know there are a lot of guys who have been waiting a while to try and buy one. I can get great shaves with a lot of razors, but if someone is looking for a high end razor I would recommend checking them out. I find it to be a very smooth efficient razor. It is expensive but I paid the same price for my att slant.
